Total Time : 35 minutes
Prep Time : 5 minutes
Cook Time : 30 minutes
Servings : 4
Cooking Level : Easy

Ingredients :

4 1-¼ Inch thick boneless pork chops
1 Tablespoon butter
1 Tablespoon olive oil
Salt
Black pepper, freshly ground
¼ Chopped green onion or shallots
1 Cup dry white wine
¾ Cup chicken stock
¾ Cup heavy cream
2 Tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 Tablespoon chopped parsley

Procedure :

1. Pat dry the pork chops with paper towels.
2. Season the pork chop all over with salt and pepper.
3. Use a large skillet and turn heat to medium high.
4. Heat the olive oil and add in the butter.
5. Right after the butter melts, put in the pork chops and sear them at 2 to 3 minutes each side. Do lower the heat if the pork chops get brown a little too quickly.
6. After the pork chops have been cooked on each side, remove them from the pan.
7. Also take out most of the fat from the pan. Then add the shallots or green onions and cook them for about a minute until softened.
8. Pour half of the white wine in and bring the mixture to a boil. Deglaze the pan by scraping the bottom of the pan of the brown bits that was made by the pork chops.
9. Add in the stock then replace the chops on the pan. Allow the sauce to simmer then reduce the heat. Cover the pan and let the pork chops cook through about 10 to 15 minutes.
10.Again take out the pork chops from the pan and place on plate and cover with foil to keep it warm.
11.Stir in the remaining half cup of the white wine. Increase the heat to high to make the sauce boil and reduce to half which will take about 3 minutes.
12.Add in the heavy cream and boil the sauce for another 3 minutes until the sauce is reduced again and is now thickened. You will know that the sauce is already thick when a wooden spoon leaves a trail on the pan when scraped.
13.Remove the pan from the heat and mix in the parsley and the mustard. You can adjust the taste by adding more mustard to your liking. Spread the mixture on your serving dish and place the pork chops on top of the sauce. Serve while warm.

Pork chops are easy to handle and with a great sauce to go with it, you are sure you can prepare the dish perfectly the first try.

Japanese Style Pork Chops is one of the pork chop recipes that make are a delicious snack or entree. It is crispy on the outside but juicy and moist in the center. This recipe is healthier than most because the breaded pork chops are oven baked rather than deep fried and since the meat has been tenderized or flattened, it doesn’t take long to prepare. These chops cook just as quickly and crisp-up as well as the fried ones do. This is also one of the many boneless pork chop recipes that people love to devour.

Total Time : 45 min.
Prep Time : 30 min.
Cook Time : 15 min.
Servings : 6 servings
Cooking Level : Medium

Ingredients :

6 Boneless pork chops, fat removed
2 Eggs, beaten with salt
1 Cup Japanese Breadcrumbs
½ Cup Flour
Salt
Pepper
Cling wrap

For the sauce:

½ Cup Ketchup mixed with
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce

Procedure :

1. Using only boneless pork chops, remove fat and rind.
2. Season with a little salt and pepper.
3. Put chops between two sheets of cling wrap and flatten the chops until thin, about half of the original thickness. You can use a mallet, meat tenderizer or a rolling pin.
4. When all the chops have been pounded to the correct thickness, prepare your breading.
5. Meanwhile, pre-heat your oven to 350⁰ F.
6. Pour flour on a plate and the breadcrumbs on another plate.
7. Coat the pork chops in the flour, tapping to remove any excess.
8. Dip into the egg wash.
9. Coat with Japanese style breadcrumbs.
10.Using a glass baking dish, lay the breaded pork chops evenly and bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
11.Serve grilled pork chops with the dipping sauce.

Tips :

> Before you even start preparing your dish, you have to make sure you have your entire “mise en place” (French term for everything in place).
> Fix your working area so that it is ideal for the production line – chops on the leftmost, then the flour, the egg wash and finally the breadcrumbs. The last thing on this work area should be the baking dish.
> It also makes breading easier if you use one hand for dipping on the wet ingredients and the other hand for the dry. This way you don’t get your fingers “breaded” themselves, necessitating washing your hands every few minutes.
> The pork chops are flattened so that they cook evenly and quickly and also ensure that the pork chops turn out crispy even if they are not fried. Thick chops will have crunchy breading but the meat itself will not be crispy.
> If you prefer spicy pork chops you should add your spices to the flour mixture. Some garlic powder, onion powder and chilli powder would provide the heat.

Cooking pork chops is not a difficult task as pork chops are versatile and be used in any meal. This recipe is one way to make your pork chops stand out and be loved by friends and family alike. And with the many delicious pork chop recipes you can try, you never get tired of these pork cuts.

You always wanted to learn how to cook baked pork chops. You thought of hosting a party at your place for family and friends to showcase this food as one of your party dishes. Just a simple party to enjoy the night away to celebrate an occasion of some sort, your birthday perhaps, a job promotion or even a non-occasion gathering to purely celebrate life and relationships. All you wanted was a reunion of the people you love to have around to talk, eat and laugh the night away. It is an absolute joy to spend time with these people and letting them enjoy your cooking as well.

But before you plan on your party, be sure to already know how baked pork chops work so you can easily cook this food by the time your party is set. You do not want to serve a dish that you just learned cooking at the day of the party as you still have to taste it yourself to see if it is good enough before serving it. As the saying goes practice makes perfect. You can try cooking this up at least two times before the night of the party so what you serve your family and friends is the perfect dish of baked pork chops.

So without further ado, here’s the recipe:

Total Time : 1 hr and 15 mins.

Prep Time : 15 minutes

Cook Time : 1 hour

Servings : 6

Cooking Level : Easy

Ingredients :

2 Tablespoons soy sauce

4 Tablespoons vegetable oil

2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

2 Teaspoons lemon juice

4 Tablespoons brown sugar

4 Tablespoons ketchup

6 Pork Chops

Procedure :

Preheat your oven to 350? F (175? C).
In a bowl, mix well the soy sauce, vegetable oil, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, brown sugar and ketchup.
In a medium baking dish, arrange your pork chops in it and spread half of the sauce on the chops.
Place your baking dish with pork chops on the preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove the dish, turn the pork chops on its other side and spread the rest of the sauce and cook for another thirty minutes or until the pork chops’ internal temperature have reached 160? F or 71? C.
Serve your baked pork chops.

Tips

- You can use the sauce as a marinade for your pork chops.

- You can marinate the pork chops in the sauce for at least an hour (the longer the better) ahead of your cooking time to allow the sauce to flavor the chops

- The sauce can be doubled if you want your dish to be saucy

- Trimming your pork chops is up to you but a little fat on them is delicious

As you can see, this dish is not so hard to cook really. You just need a little courage and imagination to push yourself into making this dish a possibility. In time you can even make baked pork chops one of the favorite dishes during gatherings of family and friends.
